Help cant change my wallpaper.?

Ok basicly i have my monitor set to a res of 1280x1024 but whenever i set a wallpaper thats larger than that, for example 1600x1200 i get these huge black bars at the top and bottom of the desktop/wallpaper. How do i make the wallpaper fit my screen? I know windows xp auto fit wallpapers but it doesnt seem vista does that, it obviously just sets the wallpaper without auto fitting it to the screen res. My os is vista ultimate 64bit sp1. ThxHelp cant change my wallpaper.?
There is an option like stretch(where you select the wallpaper), use it to fit to the desktop resolution.
