How come Windows XP Does Not Let You Change Wallpapers?

I have a Microsoft Windows XP Professional Computer and I was always able to change my wallpaper when ever I wanted to, but now it does not say Desktop which is the tab to let you change your wallpaper! So now I always have to right hand click on an image and press set as background and I do not want to do that anymore! How do I fix this problem???How come Windows XP Does Not Let You Change Wallpapers?
goto run-%26gt;regedit.exe

go to the path as

HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ ActiveDesktop

If there is a key called NoChangingWallpaper, it's likely set to 1, which means you can't change your wallpaper. Set it to 0 and you should be able to change it again.

what?!?!?! you dont have that tab anymore! how is that possible. maybe sometihngs been messing with your regestry or something. you should probably either system restore it back to the last time you could or reinstall the operating system. How come Windows XP Does Not Let You Change Wallpapers?
Maybe your system is infected by a virus or something...
